Week 3 - Who Do I Look Up To

Hey,

I think I look up to my mom the most (and grandmother, but she passed away and she and my mom are pretty similar). My mom works really hard to get things done for me and my sister. She always tries her hardest to make sure we're happy and have the same opportunities that all the other kids have. Like most parents, she's very devoted to making sure that the life of me and my sister is/will be better than the life that she has/had when she was younger. She's a very determined, strong-willed, wise, and kind woman. A lot of good qualities in one person!

Hello!

My name is Ashley and I'm a junior at MIT. I'm from NY and I have an older sister who I lived with last summer. I like trying new things but I also like the comfort of things familiar. I like both pink and blue, I like watching gymnastics and I wish I were more flexible. I'm excited for Leadership Training Institute! I liked meeting all of the mentees last Sunday and enjoyed the activities we planned. I hope that the program goes well this semester and continues to prosper.
